Spring is just around the corner and so Continental Landscapes in Barrow swung into action to add some habitat improvements to two of Barrow’s parks and Barrow Cemetery. Working in conjunction with Barrow Borough Council, we purchased and erected bird boxes in Barrow Cemetery, Barrow Park and Abbots Wood, ready for the nesting season. We also erected solitary bee and ladybird boxes, a bat box, and two hedgehog homes, to give each species time to explore these new refuges throughout the year before hibernation in the winter.
