We are looking for a Company Accountant to manage our finance department. The role is based at our head office in Oxfordshire.

You will be responsible for: the running of the finance department, compliance with all relevant legislative obligations, and internal reporting. Key responsibilities include: staff management, cash flow management, fixed asset register monitoring, VAT returns and compliance, PAYE settlement returns & calculations, manage the company’s annual audit, prepare statutory accounts, creation of systems to prevent errors, assist and cover for finance team staff as required.

You will need to have: several years experience in a business or finance environment, management experience and interpersonal skills, high level of mathematical skills, high attention to detail, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, high level of computer literacy, good written and verbal communications skills, and and understanding of data privacy standards.
You will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a related field, and/or a professional qualification with a leading accountancy body.
