A vacancy has arisen at our Richmond Depot for a Supervisor position in the Cleansing Contract. This post will report to the Assistant Contract Manager as well as the Contract Manager and will have responsibility for leading and managing teams of cleansing operatives and be accountable for the effective delivery of cleansing services in streets and parks.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE POST
- To lead and manage teams of operatives in liaison with other supervisors, to undertake supervision of the different elements of the contract and be accountable for the effective delivery of street cleansing services.
- To ensure the requirements of the contract specifications and standards are met by supporting the Assistant Contract Manager/Contract Manager in all aspects of contract management following operational requirements, company procedures and legal obligations.
- Ensure all sites within the area of responsibility are allocated sufficient resources, machinery, and equipment to deliver services to the required standard or make alternative arrangements as appropriate.
