Leeds has one of the largest local authority grass cutting contracts in the UK, covering over 9 million square metres of grass. Since 2012, Continental Landscapes have worked in partnership with Leeds City Council, along with the Belle Isle Tenant Management Organisation, to provide grounds maintenance for land managed by the highways and housing departments. Continental Landscapes is dedicated to forming a strong local presence in the communities we serve. We have two depots in Leeds, employing local people and offering apprenticeships, with a commitment to training staff to NVQ Level 2 in amenity horticulture.
To ensure the best possible value for money to council tax payers, strong performance monitoring has been agreed with local residents and representatives of the town and parish councils. This close working relationship will sow the seeds for future successes in Yorkshire and Britain in Bloom.
