Grave digging and burial services are undertaken on request from Sefton Council. All of our cemetery gardeners and grave diggers are specifically trained for the duties carried out in the cemeteries and crematorium and are easily identified by their uniforms and vehicles.
Graves are excavated using the most up to date machinery, with industry specific shoring systems used to protect our workers and members of the public. We carefully excavate and prepare graves for the interment of coffins or cremated remains, and then back fill them after the burial service is complete. Our team are specifically trained to remove and re-erect monumental headstones before and after burial.
We keep the sites clean and tidy on a daily basis with all litter bins being emptied every other day throughout the year. Christmas wreaths are removed in February each year.
