There are times in business when a job application can still really make you sit up and take notice. Well written, full of enthusiasm and initiative. Wayne Evans, our contract manager in Barrow-In-Furness received just such an application recently. Unfortunately for Wayne, the applicant Lincoln is only 9 years old.
Despite having to say, that at 9 he was a little young, Wayne was keen to encourage young Lincoln of Ormsgill Primary School. He wrote back explaining this, but inviting him in to visit our depot during the school holidays, and explained about future work experience opportunities when he reaches secondary school.
We here at CLL want to congratulate Lincoln for his excellent writing in application, and hopefully look forward to working with him one day.
