Horticulture is a constantly evolving industry, and we maintain our position as one of the market leaders in this sector by ensuring that we trial, develop and implement the latest technologies that we know will benefit our customers and the community, at the same time as meeting our Company principles of environmental and ethical good practise.

Battery powered equipment is one of the many ways we can amend working practises to meet a specific requirement. Situated along one of the most picturesque stretches of the River Thames, York House has historic formal gardens that are much loved and visited by Richmond residents and visitors to the area, and the house is home to the London Borough of Richmond’s Cabinet and meeting rooms. Using battery powered tools reduces idling noise and allows work to continue with minimal disturbance to users of the house and gardens. It also removes local exhaust emissions, and removes the environmental risk of having oil-based fuel storage on site. Electric equipment is also in use in the parks in Westminster, including longer lasting leaf blowers with backpack batteries.
