For the second year running, Continental Landscapes supported St. Mary’s Hospice to raise funds by collecting Christmas trees from local residents.
St. Mary’s Hospice, a local hospice which operates across the South Lakeland and Furness peninsula areas.The Lakes and Barrow depots supplied two vehicles and four staff between them to collect Christmas trees for which donations were given to the hospice.
St Mary's Melissa Dixon was very grateful for all the help yesterday. She thought the staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble.
She was especially impressed with the dedication of the Ulverston team showed by carrying on until they lost light.
