Contract Manager – Welwyn Garden City

Since 1989, Continental Landscapes has been providing professional grounds maintenance and street cleansing services to organisations throughout the UK. We are head quartered in Oxfordshire, but we operate across the UK. We provide varied services for public and private sector clients such as councils, the NHS, and housing associations.

Due to continued growth we have a number of exciting opportunities for experienced, knowledgeable and enthusiastic Contract Managers to lead our grounds maintenance operations in a number of areas from the Midlands to North London.

Our strength is the ability to develop honest, open partnerships with clients to deliver services that are valued in the community.

The purpose of these key roles is to actively manage and lead the continuity of existing contracts and ensure that financial and operational expectations are met or exceeded. You will be responsible for managing day-to day operations, and you will be the main point of contact for the client and all key stakeholders.

You will take an active lead in the management of Health and Safety and ensure compliance with the Company ISO 9001 Quality Management, ISO 14001, Environmental Management and OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety procedures.

With a flexible attitude, you will demonstrate our Company ethos on a daily basis, motivating your teams to perform the consistent high-quality services that are the hallmark of Continental Landscapes.

You will need to have a full clean UK driving licence.

This role would suit experienced managers or those looking to take the next step into management from backgrounds in facilities management, green services sector, or similar. An aptitude for resource planning and financial management would be beneficial.
