Continental Landscapes is always looking to use cleaner, greener vehicles and machinery in our contracts where possible. This month we have seen vehicles at either end of the size range enter our fleet in London.
At the larger end, we have a Bucher Municipal MaxPowa V65e fully electric street sweeper in use with our contract in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. Being fully electric there are zero ‘tailpipe emissions’ and it has lower operating noise. It also uses special atomising jets to reduce water use.
At the other end of the scale we are using Urban Arrow e-Cargo bikes in our contract maintaining the parks and open spaces in the London Borough of Wandsworth. They enable our teams to get around the area quickly and efficiently, again with zero local emissions.
